Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, SWE, IT, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive software engineering experience leading managers and teams.
• Experience delivering enterprise technology strategy and modernization initiatives.
• Proven ability to scale engineering organizations and lead through change.
• Strong command of modern architecture, cloud, APIs, DevOps, security practices.
• Experience governing enterprise architecture, tech debt, platform reliability, and cybersecurity risk.
• Demonstrated financial acumen with budgets, forecasts, and investments.
• Ability to connect technology decisions to revenue, customer value, and risk reduction.
• Executive communication, judgment, and influence across stakeholders.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, or high-volume industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage a team of software developers.
• Set vision and strategy for platforms and applications.
• Plan and deliver multi-year technology roadmaps and initiatives.
• Partner with senior management and stakeholders across departments.
• Govern architecture, technical debt, security, and production performance.
• Oversee talent, budgets, and procurement.
• Drive continuous process improvements and tool adoption.
• Hire, onboard and train new team members as needed.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure alignment and communication.
• Provide regular updates on project status, risks and issues.
