Job summary

Broadridge in New York seeks a Director of Engineering to translate strategic goals into reliable, scalable platform capabilities. You will lead multiple engineering managers and team leads across SRE, DevOps, and release engineering, driving architecture decisions and sustained delivery.

You will partner with product, security, and operations to align roadmaps, manage incidents, and govern releases while advancing automation and AI-assisted engineering at scale.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in engineering with production ownership of reliability for distributed systems
• Deep AWS design and operations across IAM, networking, compute, observability
• Proven major-incident leadership and recovery decision making
• Release governance, CI/CD quality gates, and safe deployment practices
• Applied SRE depth with SLIs/SLOs and error budgets
• Leadership turning priorities into funded roadmaps and executive reporting

Responsibilities

• Lead leaders and build the org by guiding engineering managers and team leads across SRE, DevOps, and release engineering
• Own DevOps and platform engineering roadmap with CI/CD, IaC, and toil reduction across environments
• Lead major-incident readiness, escalation, and post-incident reviews with stakeholders
• Own release governance, production-ready criteria, and safer rollback/roll-forward across services and data
• Define and measure reliability with SLIs/SLOs and observability improvements
• Provide executive reporting tying milestones to company goals
