La Raza Community Resource Center in San Francisco seeks a Director of Social Services Programs to lead and oversee our social services department. The role includes supervising staff, coordinating program operations, ensuring compliance, and maintaining a small direct caseload alongside systemwide improvements. The candidate will champion bilingual service delivery and strengthen partnerships with community organizations, funders, and volunteers.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
Minimum of five years in social services, nonprofit programs, with supervisory experience.
Experience overseeing social services programs serving families facing financial, housing, food, or other challenges.
Experience with client management systems; familiarity with PEAR Suite and Medi-Cal billing is preferred.
Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish.
Strong organizational and project-management skills.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership, strategic direction, and oversight of La Raza CRC's social services programs.
Supervise staff, ensuring clear expectations, accountability, and effective communication.
Oversee program operations, staffing, workflows, and service delivery to meet contractual, reporting, and compliance requirements.
Identify operational challenges and develop practical solutions with staff and leadership.
Ensure programs remain responsive to community needs and coordinated with other La Raza CRC services.
Lead implementation and effective use of PEAR Suite and other client management systems.
Train staff on PEAR Suite workflows, documentation, and billing processes.
Maintain standards for documentation including Medi-Cal billing compliance.
Monitor data quality, billing, and program outcomes; take timely corrective action.
Coordinate with Finance and Administration on reporting and compliance needs.
Develop and implement volunteer-management systems and supervise the FRS Coordinator.
