Job summary

The SF LGBT Center is seeking a Director of Youth Services to lead the Center’s Youth Services department, overseeing culturally responsive, trauma-informed services for LGBTQQ youth ages 16–24. You will supervise managers, shape program design, budgets, and partnerships, and advance equity-centered leadership.

Responsibilities include strategic planning, data-informed reporting, and cross-program collaboration to strengthen continuity of care and program impact.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of the needs, strengths, and experiences of vulnerable LGBTQQ Transitional Aged Youth.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse participants, staff, partners, funders, and community stakeholders.
• Minimum of 5–6 years of management experience, including staff supervision and team leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead Youth Services, including drop-in, mental health, navigation/referral, housing, and leadership programs.
• Develop and track annual program plans aligned with grants and organizational priorities.
• Coordinate outreach, marketing, and communications with the Communications department.
• Oversee budgets, fundraising, and contracts with funders and partners.
