Job summary

BronxWorks is seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee social services for formerly homeless individuals across multiple Bronx buildings. You will supervise case managers and coordinators, develop programming, and ensure services meet contractual obligations.

With a strong background in public benefits (SNAP, Medicaid, housing assistance) and staff leadership, you will collaborate with fiscal and program teams, travel to sites as needed, and represent BronxWorks at community events to

Qualifications

Master's degree in social work or equivalent; LMSW/LMHC license or enrollment with 3 years supervisory experience.
Experience working with governmental agencies and NYC Benefits and Housing.
Experience overseeing benefits and entitlement services including SNAP, Medicaid, SSI/SSDI, etc.
Experience developing resident programming and community-building activities.

Responsibilities

Oversee social services for formerly homeless individuals and tenants across multiple buildings.
Supervise program coordinators, case managers, and staff.
Develop and monitor program goals and budgets with fiscal coordination.
Submit contract reports to funding sources and develop corrective plans.
Travel to multiple sites and represent BronxWorks at events.
