Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or human services required.
• Must possess any certifications/licensures as required by state of employment to practice in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Social Services department operations in accordance with NASW Code of Ethics and applicable guidelines.
• Collaborate with social services staff, interdisciplinary team, and administration to promote patient rights and well-being.
• Ensure comprehensive psychosocial assessments are completed for each patient and educate patients/families about rights and available resources.
