Job summary

Appone in Walterboro, SC is seeking a Social Services Director to plan, organize, develop, and direct the Social Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, ensuring the emotional and social needs of residents are met.

Requirements include a Master’s in Social Work from an approved school, at least two years of supervisory experience in a hospital or related facility, and active ACSW registration with NASW membership in good standing.

Key Qualifications:

• Must have, at a minimum, a Masters Degree from an approved school of Social Work for a certain size facility.
• Must have, at a minimum, 2 years experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
• Must be registered as an Academy of Certified Social Workers (ACSW). Must also be a member in good standing of the ACSW and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW)
