Job summary

Guerdon, LLC in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a Site Services Leader to direct punch list, warranty service, and post-installation work on diverse modular projects. Travel to project sites to inspect, coordinate with owners and contractors, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field, or extensive field-based site Construction experience.
  • 5–10 years of progressive experience in commercial construction, site services, warranty, or field operations.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and mentoring field-based teams in active job site environments.
  • Demonstrate expertise in applicable building codes.
  • Strong working knowledge of inspection processes, punch list management, and issue resolution with owners, general contractors, and third-party inspectors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.

Bachelor’s degree in construction management

Job description

Guerdon is the premier manufacturer of wood-framed, multi-family, industrial workforce housing, and light commercial modular buildings. Proudly made in the USA at our facility in Boise, Idaho, we serve clients across the Western United States and Canada. With a strong focus on multi-family and multi-story apartments and hotels, our projects are custom-built to meet local codes, client specifications, and architectural design requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct our Site Services Team to perform punch list, warranty services, and post-installation in suite completion work (scopes per project).
  • Travel to project sites to conduct inspections and represent Guerdon LLC with owners, contractors, and third-party inspectors.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and communicate with owners, general contractors, project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, job site safety policies, and applicable regulations while maintaining clean and safe work areas.
  • Perform and oversee building, equipment, and systems inspections to proactively identify, document, and resolve issues.
  • Manage resources, track progress, document completed work and materials and resolve field issues as they arise.
  • Track revisions, discrepancies, and rolling changes for reference and continuous improvement.
  • Drive root cause analysis and lead initiatives to identify, resolve, and prevent recurring service and manufacturing issues.
  • Participate in field reports and service issue reviews to identify defects and reduce future warranty claims.
  • Coordinate with internal design and manufacturing teams to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to establish and maintain project goals, schedules, budgets, and milestones.
  • Support budgeting, inventory control, and procurement of tools, parts, and supplies.
  • Operate Department within defined budget per Schedule of Values pricing for each Project.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field, or extensive field-based site Construction experience.
  • 5-10 years of progressive experience in commercial construction, site services, warranty, or field operations, with a strong emphasis on post-installation repairs, inspections, and closeout activities.
  • Experience leading, coaching, and mentoring field-based teams in active job site environments.
  • Demonstrate expertise in applicable building codes.
  • Strong working knowledge of inspection processes, punch list management, and issue resolution in coordination with owners, general contractors, and third-party inspectors.
  • Experience preparing clear, accurate field reports, documentation, and correspondence related to site activities, repairs, and quality issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of job site safety practices and a demonstrated commitment to compliance with all Guerdon safety policies and procedures.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to professionally represent the company on-site, balancing a customer-service mindset with the confidence to uphold contractual obligations and quality standards.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from owners, general contractors, project managers, designers, clients, and internal production teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a high level of organization and a strong attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to mentor, coach and create good morale with the Site Services team.
  • Ability to lead by example and model Guerdon’s core values.
  • Skilled at cross-functional collaboration and building rapport with peers.
  • Highly skilled at reading and interpreting and explaining blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to ensure product is built to standards.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively to project sites, including extended stays, as required per project.
Physical Requirements
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, and kneel.
  • Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, and handling materials.
  • At times physical work is required in varying temperatures and often in outside conditions.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50Ibs.
  • Moderately loud noise level.
  • Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces.
