Job summary

Churches United for the Homeless seeks a Director of Services to lead program and project management across the shelter and related services. The role guides strategic planning, budget alignment, and service delivery with the leadership team.

Responsibilities include caseload assignments, program development, staff training oversight, and ensuring high-quality client support. Prior experience in human services and nonprofit settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree from a college or university.
• Preferred major in social work.
• Minnesota licensure preferred.
• Two+ years of experience in human services or equivalent.
• Non-profit setting experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Member of Leadership team, collaborates with Leadership team to improve CUFH.
• Assigns caseloads and other related duties.
• Analyzes community needs to develop new programs and enhance current programs.
• Directs selection and training of Case Management Director, Shelter Director, Case Managers and Shelter Advocate staff.
• Assigns work and evaluates performance of Case Management Director and Shelter Director.
• Oversees the case management services and shelter staff.
• Supervises the Shelter Director and Case Management Director.
