Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manages housekeeping operations and staff to ensure rooms, public spaces and employee areas are clean and well maintained.
• Maintains strong working relationship with Front Office to ensure effective communications for operational issues.
• Obtains list of rooms to be cleaned and prospective check-outs to prepare work assignments.
• Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies and supplies usage is controlled.
• Ensures guestrooms, public areas and employee areas are cleaned according to standards; conducts inspections.
• Incorporates guest satisfaction as a key performance measure and drives continuous improvement.
• Understands budgeting, cost control and payroll reports to support financial goals.

Education

High school diploma or GED; 2 years' experience in the housekeeping or related professional area
