Colonial Downs Group LLC is seeking a Director of Security to lead the Security department, oversee daily operations, and plan strategic safety initiatives for the property, ensuring the protection of guests and company assets.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with eight years in security and at least three years supervising, plus a valid gaming license and driver’s license. The position is based in Rosie's Hampton, VA with on-site duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in security, criminal justice, or a related field.
• Eight or more years of security experience with at least three years in a supervisory role.
• Must obtain and maintain valid racing and/or gaming license and a valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate security investigations with outside law enforcement and may assist in court proceedings.
• Establish strong relationships with outside law enforcement and first responders.
• Develop and monitor emergency response procedures for safety and security incidents.
• Collaborate with department leaders to assess risk, develop security programs, and allocate resources.
• Analyze security data and reports to drive program improvements.
• Ensure compliance with all policies, laws, and regulations applicable to security operations.
• Supervise security staff, plan workloads, train and evaluate personnel.
• Oversee audits and inspections of gaming floors, parking areas, and other spaces for compliance.
