Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a Senior Engineering Director to lead the Security Products Engineering group, delivering reliable cybersecurity products and systems. You will provide strategy, leadership, and technical guidance while building and shaping engineering teams.

This role reports to the VP of Engineering for Security Products and collaborates with peers to align with group strategy. You will be equally adept at people leadership and technical discussion, hiring great engineers and setting

Qualifications

Deep technical background in software engineering and cybersecurity products.
Proven leadership experience managing engineering managers and complex projects with external dependencies.
Ability to set technical direction and own decisions, while guiding teams toward measurable outcomes.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple teams of engineers delivering customer facing products.
Partner with Product Management to define and execute strategy and audacious goals.
Lead and mentor engineering managers and engineers across the organization.
Work with peers globally to drive cross-organizational projects and develop best practices.
Foster a culture that balances results with curiosity, kindness, and customer empathy.
Define metrics to guide engineering teams and drive continuous improvement.
