Job summary

KIPP Texas Public Schools seeks an Assistant Principal of Operations to lead and optimize school-wide operational systems in our Dallas-area campuses. This role focuses on attendance, enrollment, safety, and frontline service to families and staff, enabling instructional staff to concentrate on teaching and learning.

The APO will build a data-driven, service-oriented culture, manage a diverse team, and partner with SSPs to ensure safe, well-maintained campuses.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of related work experience.
• Minimum 3 years experience in operations or education.
• Preferred experience in people management.
• Bilingual: English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, onboard and develop a high-performing team.
• Create school-based strategies to ensure students are in seats every day and year over year.
• Design and continually evolve school-based operations policies and procedures such as arrival and dismissal.
• Inform and manage the school budget in partnership with the School Leader.
• Partner with School Support Partners to ensure campus safety and well maintenance.
• Lead regular communications with families regarding important school information.
