Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree required.
• 3-years paid experience in administration of education.
• NYSED School Building Leader or School Administrator certification.

Aufgaben

• Supervise daily program/department operations, including budget monitoring, interviewing, hiring, scheduling and coverage, orientation, staff meetings, performance evaluation, discipline and termination.
• Coordinate existing services and expansion of department services, develop new programs, initiate innovations in line with program needs.
• Oversee and maintain the timely completion of all necessary records and reports.
• Coordinate with other agency programs departments and inter-disciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of quality services.
• Coordinate services with state and federal governmental and regulatory bodies, community and local agencies and health care providers, when applicable, to ensure that program needs are met.
• Ensure that the program/department operates in a fiscally responsible manner.
• Ensure ongoing staff in-service and professional development needs are met, and that staff certifications and/or licenses are current.
• Participate in activities as part of the administrative team that may include meetings, attending and/or conducting trainings and participating in or chairing committees
• Adhere to mandatory reporting regulations and HIPAA laws.
• Ensure compliance with all pertinent government and agency regulations and operating standards.
• Establish a work environment that creates positive relationships between supervisors and employees and assimilate new employees to the Agency culture, values and mission.
• Required to work an extra five days (35 hours) per year during traditional school break periods when staff and students are not scheduled to be in program.
