Upstate Caring Partners, Inc. in Central New York is seeking a Director of Early Childhood Services to supervise daily department operations, ensure compliance with NYSED and OCFS regulations, and oversee program efficacy, records, and reporting.

The role leads staff development, coordinates with internal and external partners, and drives fiscal accountability while advancing quality preschool and day care services for the 4410 program and related initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Education or Special Education and NYSED certification requirement.
• Experience in an educational or preschool setting preferred.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations, budget monitoring, interviewing, hiring, scheduling, orientation, staff meetings, and evaluations for the 4410 preschool and day care programs.
• Coordinate existing services, develop new programs, and expand programs to meet strategic goals.
• Oversee timely completion of records and reports to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Coordinate with agency departments and interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality services.
• Coordinate with state/federal entities, healthcare providers and community partners to meet program needs.
• Ensure the program/department operates in a fiscally responsible manner.
• Ensure ongoing staff training and professional development; maintain certifications/licenses.
• Participate in Education Division and Preschool Program administrative team activities.
• Perform additional responsibilities as determined by the VP of Education.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and operating standards.
