Job summary

The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Nursing is seeking a Director of Student Financial Aid to oversee scholarship and funding distribution for nursing students. The role ensures donor guidelines are followed and collaborates with the Office of Scholarships and Other Student Funding.

Reporting to senior leaders, you will lead committees, develop funding processes, and provide annual reports on funding activity, coordinating with Development and Student Success to engage applicants.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration or other degree relevant and five (5) years of relevant experience in the academic setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the scholarship and funding distribution process and ensure compliance with donor guidelines.
• Serve as the main point of contact for SON student funding matters.
• Lead committees and panels related to Scholarships and Other Funding.
• Collaborate with the Office of Development and Alumni Affairs to align awards with donor intent.
• Develop and implement processes to prioritize funding and manage annual funding priorities.
• Produce annual reports on scholarships and funding distribution.
