Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration or other relevant degree.
• Five years of relevant academic experience in areas of project management and collaborative leadership.
• Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.

Responsibilities

• Subscribes to the mission and vision of UAB School of Nursing (SON).
• Serves as the point of contact for all SON student funding matters.
• Participates with and serves as an ad hoc member of the Scholarships/and Other Funding Advisory Committee, Oversight Panel, and Funding Action Panel.
• Confers with the Office of Development and Alumni Development to ensure scholarships are awarded in line with the donor intent.
• Leads the development of processes and procedures for funding priorities and oversight of the funding process.
• Demonstrates compliance in meeting the criteria for awarding scholarships and other student funding.
• Develops a yearly timeline and plan for completion of all activities.
• Oversees scheduling of all committee meetings in line with yearly timelines.
• Develops guidelines for processing scholarships and funding distributions to students.
• Collaborates with the Office of Student Success on applications and student engagement for funding.
• Prepares annual reports on scholarships and funding distributions.
• Implements an evaluation plan for funding processes and success in awarding funding.
• Performs other related duties to support the tripartite mission of the School of Nursing.
