Position Overview:

Chemtech Plastics is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Sales and Marketing to lead and manage the activities of our sales department. This role is instrumental in optimizing sales performance, aligning team efforts with business goals, and supporting the company’s growth in the competitive plastics manufacturing sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Operations:

  • Manage and cultivate leads from CRM system.
  • Review and interpret sales data by utilizing CRM, market trends, and forecasts to identify growth opportunities.
  • Align sales strategies with customer needs, company capabilities, and market conditions.
  • Assist with pricing strategies and new market development initiatives.


Customer Engagement & Collaboration:

  • Engage directly with key customers to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Resolve customer concerns and troubleshoot sales or service issues.
  • Represent Chemtech Plastics at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.


Leadership & Management:

  • Provide strategic leadership to sales teams.
  • Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations.
  • Review and evaluate contracts, agreements, and NDAs for executive team.


Administrative & Reporting:

  • Ensure accurate documentation of sales activities and performance metrics.
  • Utilize data and reporting tools to evaluate team productivity and effectiveness.
  • Maintain a high level of organizational oversight and operational efficiency.


Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sales, or related field, preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a sales leadership role, preferably within manufacturing or plastics industries.
  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems.
  • Demonstrated success in managing high-performing sales teams and achieving business objectives.


Required Skills & Abilities:

  • Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement strategic actions by utilizing CRM.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in ZOHO or related CRM program, experienced with Microsoft Office Suite.
