Job summary

Lumicity, a nationally recognized medical device manufacturer, seeks a Director of Sales Administration to lead sales support, forecasting, quotas, compensation design, and contract governance to accelerate growth.

You will own the end-to-end contracting lifecycle, implement CRM tools, and partner with Finance, Legal, and HR to optimize processes, reporting, and training; strong leadership and analytics are essential.

Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution.
  • 5+ years managing sales contracting, administration, and/or sales operations in a B2B environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading departments and developing people.
  • Demonstrated proficiency managing analytically rigorous initiatives.
  • Proficiency with PC & Microsoft Office.
  • CRM experience required (Salesforce preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes for the sales organization; maintains high standards of quality, accuracy, and process consistency, coordinating with other functions as needed
  • Manages field inventory allocation and accuracy, and supports forecasting around field inventory and par levels in coordination with Finance and Operations
  • Supports equitable assignment and optimal allocation of sales quotas across all channels and resources
  • Ensures sales objectives are assigned in a timely manner
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement; partners with sales management to inspect process quality, understand bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement
  • Monitors accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other business intelligence
  • Recommends revisions to existing reports or develops new reporting tools as needed
  • Implements enabling technologies, including CRM, across field sales teams; monitors compliance with CRM data standards and works with sales management to optimize technology investments
  • Coordinates training delivery to sales, sales management, and sales support personnel
  • Provides input to senior leadership on sales incentive compensation program design and administration
  • Partners with Accounting, Finance, and HR on incentive compensation administration and policy clarification as needed
  • Directs and supports consistent implementation of company initiatives
  • Collaborates with Training to meet commercial organization needs
  • Leads monthly commercial update
  • Supports CRM, commission reporting, training team, and training initiatives
  • Tracks and analyzes key performance indicators for the commercial organization
  • Builds strong cross-functional relationships with key management personnel

About the Role

The Director, Sales Administration leads support functions essential to the sales organization and contracting process. This includes territory planning, reporting, quota setting and management, sales process optimization, sales training, sales program implementation, sales compensation design and administration, recruiting and selection of sales talent, organizational and distribution structure, field inventory planning and management, and the review, negotiation, and management of hospital/facility contracts.

The Director is responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the assigned sales organization, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the appropriate objectives and priorities are enabled across the sales function.

Contracting & Contracts Management
  • Owns the end-to-end contract lifecycle — drafting, negotiation, execution, and renewal — including governance policies, approval authority matrices, and escalation paths for non-standard terms
  • Serves as primary operational liaison between Sales, Legal, and Finance to streamline contract review/approval workflows; partners with Legal on regulatory compliance and maintains a library of standard templates and pre-approved redline language
  • Oversees administration and optimization of the CLM platform for sales contracts, driving adoption, ensuring data integrity, and tracking expirations, auto-renewals, and obligations
  • Generates and maintains reporting on contract cycle times, approval bottlenecks, win/loss patterns by contract type, and renewal pipeline health; proactively surfaces risks and opportunities to Sales leadership
  • Trains and enables Sales team members to navigate contracting processes efficiently and within policy
