Director of Sales

Acres is hiring a Director of Sales to lead and scale our revenue engine. You’ll own sales strategy, execution, and team performance—driving aggressive customer acquisition and retention goals. You bring a track record of exceeding $10M+ ARR targets, building high-output teams, and closing complex SaaS deals across SMB and Enterprise. This role reports directly to the Acres CRO and plays a key role in shaping our enterprise sales motion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue Growth: Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, coach, and lead a high-performing team of AEs. Drive accountability, training, and results.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and optimize a scalable sales process using CRM and analytics tools.
  • Customer Engagement: Lead key deals and mentor AEs in high-value negotiations.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Partner with marketing, product, and customer success to optimize the sales funnel and customer lifecycle.
  • Market Intelligence: Leverage land, SaaS, and agtech insights to inform sales strategy and GTM positioning.

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years in B2B SaaS sales, including 2–4 years in a leadership role
  • Proven success leading teams that exceeded $5M–$10M+ in ARR
  • Experience across both SMB and Enterprise motions
  • Strong analytical, communication, and forecasting skills
  • CRM and sales analytics proficiency (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Other)

Preferred Additional Experience

  • Background in real estate tech, land, or agriculture
  • Startup or early-stage growth company experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in agriculture, real estate, or land brokerage
  • Experience working in a technology startup environment
