Director of Sales Venue Acquisition

The Sr. Director of Sales will be responsible for growing Boingo's portfolio of products (DAS, Wi-Fi, Private Networks) with a particular focus on DAS. Boingo is a leading indoor wireless solution provider focused on acquiring and retaining large venues with big audiences through multi-year contracts. The primary objective of the Sr. Director of Sales is to expand Boingo's footprint by securing contracts valued from $1M to over $30M in the North Central Region. The indoor wireless market is experiencing significant growth as mobile data consumption increases inside airports, stadiums, arenas, office buildings, and hospitals. While demand for our services is strong, the market remains dynamic and highly competitive; thus, adaptability, agility, and speed to market are essential.


Responsibilities

  1. Execute marketing and sales strategies to deploy wireless infrastructure, assessing business, financial, and strategic viability of opportunities.
  2. Implement sales forecasting and pipeline management processes.
  3. Identify, contact, and qualify prospects through research, calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings.
  4. Facilitate executive-level conversations.
  5. Act as the regional business development lead.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in a complex, solution-selling environment with a proven record of closing large deals.
  • Proven track record of closing deals under $1M and consistently meeting or exceeding quotas.
  • Ability to negotiate and execute contracts by leveraging cross-functional resources.
  • Proficient in solution selling within an enterprise environment.
  • Strong analytical and quick thinking abilities (critical thinker).
  • Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time is required.
