Job summary

Chicago Transit Authority in Chicago, IL, seeks a Senior Manager for Safety, Security and Control Center Training Programs within the Training and Instruction unit to provide strategic direction and content for employee training aligned with CTA goals.

You will oversee program development, ensure OSHA compliance, and collaborate with multiple departments to advance safety training initiatives and assess program effectiveness across the authority.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Health or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• Experience developing and implementing training and instructional design programs.
• OSHA training certifications or trainer experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Safety, Security and Control Center training programs and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Coordinate with management to identify training needs and measure program effectiveness.
• Develop and deliver Train-the-Trainer sessions when new programs are introduced.
• Ensure training content aligns with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
