Energy Jobline ZR seeks an experienced Director of Safety to oversee health and safety initiatives across multiple operating sites in the Houston area. The role partners with executive leadership to strengthen safety performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.

The successful candidate will lead a high-performing safety team, analyze trends, and implement programs that reduce risk while enabling efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, or a related discipline.
• Extensive leadership experience within industrial, manufacturing, energy, or heavy operations environments.
• Experience leading teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Professional safety certification is preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for company-wide safety programs across multiple sites.
• Develop and enhance safety policies, procedures, and risk management initiatives.
• Partner with operations leaders to improve workplace safety and performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of safety professionals.
• Analyze safety trends and metrics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry regulations.
• Deliver safety training and leadership development programs.
