Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree in environmental safety or a closely related field with five years of experience.
• Safety experience in health care is required.

Responsibilities

• Drives safety/emergency goals and advises leadership on programs and policies.
• Develops and revises safety plans per regulatory guidelines and reports compliance.
• Leads environment of care inspections and reports findings monthly.
• Investigates employee safety/health concerns and makes improvement recommendations.
• Oversees regulatory compliance with JC, NFPA, OSHA, NIOSH and other agencies.
• Manages EH&S budget, staffing, and grant processes.
• Directs hazardous, medical and universal waste disposition and incident response.
