Job summary

OUTRIGGER Resorts & Hotels is seeking a Director of Rooms to lead all facets of the rooms division, including Front Office and Housekeeping, while driving guest satisfaction and service excellence at our Honolulu resort.

The role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and proficiency with hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on delivering outstanding guest experiences and guiding departmental teams toward strategic initiatives.

• 5 years of experience in hotel or resort management, with a focus on rooms division.

The Director of Rooms oversees all aspects of the resort’s rooms operations, including Front Office and Housekeeping. This position ensures exceptional guest service by overseeing daily operations, maintaining high guest satisfaction, and driving service excellence through the use of UniFocus Guest Survey results and Standards for Excellence programs. The Director of Rooms leads and develops departmental teams, manages budgets and operational costs, monitors financial performance, and collaborates with senior leadership to execute strategic initiatives that support the resort’s long-term success.

Minimum Requirements

5 years of experience in hotel or resort management, with a focus on rooms division. Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team. Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

While base pay starts at $100,000- $110,000, there is potential for a higher salary based on factors such as applicant skill, experience, education.
