Job summary

Outrigger Hotels Hawaii is seeking a Director of Rooms to oversee all rooms operations, including Front Office and Housekeeping, and to drive guest service excellence. The role requires strong leadership, budget management, and proficiency with hotel software.

You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, monitor performance, and collaborate with senior leadership on strategic initiatives to sustain long-term success across the resort. Excellent communication and flexible scheduling are essential.

The Director of Rooms oversees all aspects of the resort's rooms operations, including Front Office and Housekeeping. This position ensures exceptional guest service by overseeing daily operations, maintaining high guest satisfaction, and driving service excellence through the use of UniFocus Guest Survey results and Standards for Excellence programs. The Director of Rooms leads and develops departmental teams, manages budgets and operational costs, monitors financial performance, and collaborates with senior leadership to execute strategic initiatives that support the resort's long-term success.

Minimum Requirements

• 5 years of experience in hotel or resort management, with a focus on rooms division.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in hotel management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Salary & Benefits

While base pay starts at $100,000- $110,000, there is potential for a higher salary based on factors such as applicant skill, experience, education.
