Job summary

Inland Respite, Inc. seeks a Program Director Respite & Social Recreation Services to lead IDD-focused programs across multiple sites. You will drive strategic direction, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee operations, finances, and staff development to deliver high-quality, person-centered services.

The role partners with families, state agencies, and community providers to advance inclusion and safety while expanding program impact and sustainable growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in IDD, behavioral health, or related services.
• Experience managing budgets, compliance, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Direct all respite, social recreation, and related programs.
• Develop strategic plans aligned with goals and community needs.
• Ensure services are person-centered, outcome-driven, and compliant.
• Monitor participant outcomes and utilization trends to optimize services.
• Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple sites.
• Develop policies, procedures, and best practices for service delivery.
• Maintain readiness for audits, licensing reviews, and accreditation processes.
• Manage participant enrollment and staffing structures.
• Develop budgets and monitor financial performance.
• Lead staff recruitment, training, and evaluation.
• Identify growth opportunities and funding sources.
• Lead program launches and partnerships to improve access.
