The Colorado School of Mines seeks an Associate Director for Proposal and Contracting in ORA to oversee pre-award operations, ensure compliant processes, and deliver high levels of service to the research community.

You will lead a team, collaborate with faculty and departments, design training, and maintain policies and procedures. The position is hybrid with on-campus presence required.

Formación

• Experience leading pre-award and contracting teams.
• Ability to develop SOPs and training materials.
• Strong understanding of federal regulations and cost accounting standards.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the Pre-Award team including Proposal Analyst and Sponsored Project Contracts teams.
• Prioritize work by deadlines and workload; build reports to provide performance metric data.
• Resolve complex questions with the ORA Director and drive process improvements.
• Develop and maintain a highly skilled, service-oriented ORA Pre-Award team with measurable results.
• Hire and develop an agile team capable of meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
• Maintain Pre-Award SOPs and site information; provide training and outreach to campus offices.
