Job summary

OneOncology is seeking a Director, Research Process Optimization to drive cross-functional improvements across the clinical research program, spanning contracting, budgeting, study activation, regulatory, quality, study operations, finance, and site management.

A defining feature of this role is the partnership with OneOncology's technology and Research Products team to deploy workflow platforms, tracking systems, and AI-enabled tools, ensuring delivery against timelines and measurable value.

Qualifications

• Identify opportunities for improvement across research functions and develop business cases.
• Conduct assessments using Lean Six Sigma to map current and future state workflows.
• Design improved processes and partner with the technology team on automation.
• Define metrics and dashboards to measure impact and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Opportunity Identification & Portfolio Development: identify opportunities and prioritize investments.
• Process Analysis: map workflows and identify bottlenecks using data-driven methods.
• Solution Design & Build: design processes and collaborate on automation with tech.
• Technology Coordination & Delivery Oversight: align platform builds and timelines.
• Implementation & Change Leadership: drive adoption across central functions and sites.
• Foundational Process Infrastructure: maintain SOPs and R&R matrices.
• Process Discovery & Improvement: surface pain points and drive targeted improvements.
• Performance Metrics & Scorecards: create dashboards to track progress.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Facilitation: coordinate dependencies and share best practices.
• Continuous Improvement: stay current with industry trends and AI tech.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
