The role leads strategic planning, vendor coordination, and cross-disciplinary collaboration within the Information Technology Services team.

You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and ensure compliant and secure computing environments that support innovative research across campus.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in a related field and ongoing knowledge updates.
• Minimum of 5 years in research computing with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of AWS, HPC, AI/ML, data storage, and research software applications.
• Experience developing strategy and managing projects in a research computing environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Provide consultation for research computing and policy development.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for infrastructure and services.
• Lead research computing projects from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with faculty, researchers, and IT staff to tailor solutions.
• Ensure data security and regulatory compliance; monitor performance.
• Coordinate with external vendors to procure and implement new technologies.
