Job summary

Position Summary

• Oversee and coordinate rehabilitation services, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy, as applicable.
• Lead, mentor, and support rehabilitation staff to promote excellent clinical outcomes and resident satisfaction.
• Ensure therapy services comply with applicable state and federal regulations, professional standards, and facility policies.
• Collaborate with nursing, medical providers, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor clinical outcomes, productivity, documentation, and quality assurance initiatives.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and departmental operations to ensure efficient delivery of services.
• Support resident-centered care that promotes safety, dignity, independence, and quality of life.
• Maintain effective communication with residents, families, staff, and facility leadership.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, active Texas license as a Physical Therapist (PT), Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), Occupational Therapist (OT), Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), or Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
• Previous rehabilitation leadership or management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation practices, clinical documentation, and applicable state and federal regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
