Job summary

AVIR Health Group seeks a qualified Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead and supervise the rehabilitation department, ensuring patient needs, fiscal requirements, and compliance with regulations are met. This role focuses on building a strong facility culture, staff leadership, and effective management of referrals and customers.

The DOR will oversee therapy plans, scheduling, documentation accuracy, and productivity while supporting a family-oriented, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired specific to discipline.
• Demonstrates leadership, organization, and communication expertise.

Responsibilities

• Achieve patient care, employee relations, customer service, and financial objectives through strong leadership and management of staff, customers, and referral sources.
• Oversee the implementation of established therapy plans of care.
• Management of scheduled treatment days, per the Plan of Care, for patients, on a daily basis.
• Track admissions and discharges, to ensure appropriate scheduling of evaluating therapists for timely completion of evaluations and discharge summaries.
• Ensure Therapists complete documentation properly and completely, in a timely manner.
• Monitor productivity of therapists, labor hours, flextime, and overtime.
