AVIR Health Group in Snyder, Texas is seeking a Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) to lead and supervise the rehabilitation department, aligning patient care with fiscal goals and regulatory requirements.

The DOR will build a strong therapy team, oversee treatment plans, scheduling, and documentation, and maintain high-quality care while collaborating with referral sources and corporate support. Strong leadership, communication, and compliance with state and federal regulations are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in rehab or healthcare administration.
• Experience managing therapy staff and patients.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the rehabilitation department to meet resident needs and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee therapy plans of care and ensure timely evaluations and discharge summaries.
• Manage scheduling of treatment days and provider productivity.
• Monitor admissions/discharges and ensure proper staffing and scheduling of evaluating therapists.
• Ensure documentation is completed accurately and on time by therapists.
• Coordinate with referral sources and maintain high-quality customer service.

Responsibilities for Director of Rehabilitation(DOR) :

• Achieve specific patient care, employee relations, customer service, and financial objectives through strong leadership and effective management of staff, customers, and referral sources.
• Oversee the implementation of established therapy plans of care.
• Management of scheduled treatment days, per the Plan of Care, for patients, on a daily basis.
• Track admissions and discharges, to ensure appropriate scheduling of evaluating therapists for timely completion of evaluations and discharge summaries.
• Ensure Therapists complete documentation properly and completely, in a timely manner.
• Monitor productivity of therapists, labor hours, flextime, and overtime.

Qualifications for Director of Rehabilitation(DOR) :

• Level of knowledge equivalent to that ordinarily acquired specific to discipline.
• Demonstrates leadership, organization, and communication expertise.
