Job summary

Recover-Care in Topeka, Kansas seeks a Director of Rehabilitation to plan, administer, and direct operation of therapy programs, including physical, occupational, and speech therapies. You will oversee the rehab department’s daily workflow and report to the Regional Director of Therapy.

The role requires maintaining a clinical caseload, leading staff, ensuring billing/documentation compliance, and collaborating with facility leadership to uphold quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a clinical caseload.
• Knowledge and skills to care for SNF patient needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Carries a clinical caseload.
• Provide direction and leadership to all therapy staff.
• Ensures program compliance through review for accurate billing, documentation, and support to therapy staff.
• Responsible for staffing: recruitment, orientation, development, retention, scheduling, and engagement.
