Job summary

The Gardens at Aldersgate in Topeka, KS, seeks a Director of Rehabilitation Services to plan, administer, and direct operation of physical, occupational, and speech therapy programs. This role ensures clinical excellence, oversees staffing, budgeting, and compliance, and reports to the Regional Director of Therapy.

You will supervise the rehab team, maintain standards of care for SNF residents, manage caseloads, and collaborate with facility leadership to drive quality and compassionate resident

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as PT/PTA, OT/COTA, or SLP
• Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate in allied health field PT/PTA, OT/COTA, or SLP
• Proficiency with all applicable state, federal, and professional standards

Responsibilities

• Carries a clinical caseload
• Provide direction and leadership to all therapy staff
• Ensures program compliance through review for accurate billing, documentation, and support to therapy staff
• Responsible for maintaining optimal staffing mix including recruitment, orientation, development, retention, scheduling, and employee engagement of therapy staff
• Clinical management of therapy department through patient identification, case management, care planning, and clinical utilization
• Collaborate with facility leadership to drive clinical excellence and supportive facility culture
• Supervises the scheduling of residents for therapy services considering available treatment hours, staff resources and overall plan of care
• Manages the evaluation and development of in-house therapy programs including equipment assessment and staffing ratios
• Completes required forms and documents timely, in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations
