Job summary

Reliant Management seeks a Director of Rehabilitation Services to oversee the administrative, clinical, and financial operations of the department, guiding therapy programs for patients across physical, occupational, and speech-language services.

The role requires a strong clinical leader with a supervisory track record, excellent communication skills, and deep knowledge of regulatory standards and accreditation processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• Current and unencumbered license as Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist as required by state practice.
• Minimum 3–5 years of direct patient care experience in a rehabilitation setting, with 1–2 years of management or leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, management, and team-building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise all clinical and administrative staff within the rehabilitation department.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop new personnel.
• Conduct performance reviews, provide regular feedback, and oversee disciplinary actions as needed.
• Delegate tasks and provide guidance to therapy managers, assistants, and students.
• Oversee day-to-day operations: scheduling, resources, and quality assurance.
• Develop and maintain departmental policies to ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality care.
• Collaborate with facility heads to integrate rehabilitation services with patient care.
• Manage department budget, monitor revenue, control expenses, and forecast financial performance.
• Prepare and present reports on department performance, outcomes, and budget to senior management.
• Provide clinical leadership to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care.
• Develop new rehabilitation programs and services to meet patient needs and organizational goals.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust programs to optimize outcomes.
