Job summary

Leeds Professional Resources seeks a seasoned real estate development lead to oversee the entire development lifecycle, from site feasibility to capacity planning and permitting. You will report to a managing partner and coordinate with architects, engineers, lenders, and stakeholders to advance multiple long‑term projects.

Responsibilities include negotiating land acquisitions, coordinating pre-development activities, preparing market analyses and proformas, and ensuring adherence to budgets

Responsibilities

• Negotiate agreements with property owners for land acquisition for development opportunities or redevelopment expansion.
• Negotiate with communities, businesses and public utilities to eliminate obstacles for the project.
• Track and adhere to land purchase and sales requirements.
• Manage the process of site development.
• Lead coordination of pre-development planning including site engineering, market research, traffic analysis, building design, leasing and zoning.
• Assist in assessing new opportunities and securing development.
• Assist in preparation of business plans for prospective locations, including economy and market analysis.
• Assist in developing the Company's strategic direction from market information and market analysis.
• Manage general development matters (permitting, due diligence, acquisitions, etc.), participate in financial and market feasibility analysis.
• Assist in coordinating design processes and research, performing extensive financial underwriting of new development projects and/or redevelopment.
• Preparation of proformas, budgets, and financial projections.
• Preparation of project development budgets and monitoring development.
• Ability to work within municipal, state and federal programs.
• Strong project management capabilities and ability to manage multiple long-term projects.
• Work with internal and external parties, including architects, land planners, engineers, lenders, brokers, and equity partners.
