Rocky Mountain Communities in Denver, CO seeks a Director of Development – Real Estate to lead affordable housing projects from site control through lease-up. You will act as the primary contact for financing, development, and construction teams.

This senior role reports to the VP of Real Estate and partners with consultants, architects and lenders. A minimum of seven years in housing development and strong finance and project management skills are required.

Qualifikationen

• Seven+ years in housing development, business, finance, urban planning, or related field.
• Proficient in real estate finance analysis using Excel, project management software, and word processing software.
• Knowledge of LIHTC, HUD, and related financing programs (CDBG, HOME)
• Able to analyze complex data, make recommendations and decisions.
• Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills; strong presentation ability.
• Experience managing people and coordinating with consultants, architects and lenders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Aufgaben

• Oversee affordable housing developments from site control, through design, financing, construction, to lease-up.
• Coordinate with VP Real Estate and other stakeholders to establish plans and timelines.
• Supervise development team members, including architects and contractors.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Identify acquisition opportunities and evaluate feasibility and funding options.
• Negotiate major agreements and financing documents.
• Maintain relationships with external partners and funders.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and promote high-quality products.
