Job summary

Gordon Memorial Hospital in Gordon, NE is seeking a Quality Improvement Director to lead the QAPI and Patient Safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and driving continuous improvement in care delivery. You will work with the Leadership Team, Board of Directors, and CEO to foster a culture of safety.

Responsibilities include leading the QAPI committee, reporting quality data, maintaining dashboards, educating staff, and overseeing risk management and policy reviews.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred; Master’s degree preferred.
• Current Nebraska RN license strongly preferred; BLS required; CPHQ preferred.
• Regulatory knowledge and compliance experience expected.

Responsibilities

• Leads the Hospital Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement Program (QAPI) committee and reports to the Board.
• Ensures accurate and timely reporting of quality data to QIO/QIN, Medicaid, CMS MBQIP.
• Manages compliance program and serves as designated compliance officer; maintains regulatory readiness.
