The position requires 4–6 years in building maintenance or related fields, with a preference for prior supervisory experience and relevant trades knowledge in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and carpentry.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in building maintenance
• Previous experience managing others preferred
• Knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance

Responsibilities

• Manages staff recruitment, training, coaching, evaluating, and disciplinary actions.
• Manages budgeted financial performance and operations to maximize cash flow.
• Coordinates vendor relations, invoicing, and insurance certifications.
• Schedules, trains, and evaluates maintenance personnel and ensures training compliance.
• Oversees make-ready of vacated units and property inspections.
• Ensures safety compliance and implements preventive maintenance procedures.
• Maintains records of maintenance requests, expenditures, and inspections.
• Leads safety meetings and communicates with a diverse group of people.
• Ensures timely completion of work orders and adherence to standards.
