The position requires a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in related fields, preferably with hotel industry experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in a related field, including prior management experience.
• Experience in a hotel or related field is required, with a trade license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Maintenance staff, overseeing the maintenance of buildings and grounds.
• Apply extensive experience in engineering, maintenance and related fields to ensure efficient operations.
• Evaluate and make quick, accurate decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Convey information clearly and listen to issues raised by staff and guests.
• Understand basic arithmetic and financial information to support maintenance operations.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for maintenance requests, schedule maintenance and ensure regulatory compliance.

TheDirectorofEngineeringisresponsibleforoverseeingtheproperty'sfacilitiesmaintenancefunction,ensuringtheefficientoperation,maintenance,service,andrepairofallequipment.The Director of Engineering is a skilled leader with technical expertise in engineering and maintenance.

KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES

• TechnicalExpertise: Apply extensive experience in engineering, maintenance and related fields to ensure efficient operations.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
