Strong analytical and supervisory skills are essential to manage multiple programs, ensure compliance with state laws, and guide staff through complex assessments and budget processes.

Qualifikationen

• College degree required with 5–7 years related experience in assessing and/or appraisal.
• Accredited Assessor designation within 1 year of appointment.
• Massachusetts driver’s license required.

Aufgaben

• Conduct annual real and personal property assessments and revaluations.
• Appraise properties using market, cost and income approaches.
• Prepare Tax Classification materials and related records.
• Defend assessed values before tax authorities and boards.
