Job summary

Creature is seeking a Director of Project Management to own the PM function across its active portfolio in Birmingham, AL. You will lead and develop PMs and APMs, own P&L and estimating, and act as the counterweight to Field Operations, protecting margin while pursuing value with the field.

This role interfaces with design, production, and finance to ensure contracts, schedules, and client relationships are aligned, scalable, and robust for growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Project Management experience in commercial construction.

Responsibilities

• Own P&L, client relationships, and contract on every active project.
• Lead, manage, and develop every PM and APM on Creature's board.
• Drive estimating discipline, change-order and claims management to protect margin.
• Own the upstream handoffs between design, Precon, and Manufacturing for field execution.
• Build PM systems, reporting cadence, and contract management to scale with volume.
