Job summary

Third Wave Fund seeks a Director of Programs to oversee the development and implementation of its program areas, including streamlining grantmaking processes and fund disbursement to community organizations and activists.

The ideal candidate has deep philanthropy expertise, a commitment to justice-centered funding, and a track record of building resource pathways with BIPOC, queer, trans, disabled, sex workers, immigrants and others affected by patriarchy and ableism.

Qualifications

• Seven years of professional experience, with at least five in philanthropy.
• Demonstrated experience in leading teams and driving cohesion while respecting individual autonomy.
• Expertise in grantmaking strategy and capacity building for targeted communities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development and implementation of Third Wave Fund’s program areas.
• Streamline processes to disperse funds to community organizations and activists.
• Partner with Co-Executive Directors on grantmaking strategy and work plans.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders and build team cohesion and clarity.
