Medi Home Hospice in Danville, VA is seeking an experienced Full-Time Director of Professional Services to lead clinical operations for our hospice team. You will oversee patient care, ensure compliant utilization of services, and coordinate agency functions with both clinical and non-clinical staff.

Job Requirements

• Progressive clinical and management experience in a hospice setting strongly preferred.
• Valid RN license to practice in Virginia OR licensed in the state as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech-Language Pathologist or Medical Social Worker.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years in a MEDICARE CERTIFIED hospice agency setting required.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of federal/state laws and guidelines pertaining to Hospice and Medicare.
• High level management skills needed to be successful in the role as a leader to include conflict management, negotiation, team building, communication and coaching/mentoring others.
