Job summary

Capital One seeks a Director, Product Management for Secure Foundations Platform to lead artifact and vulnerability management across container base images and open‑source libraries. This role defines strategy and drives automated remediation at scale across engineering teams.

You will partner with Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Risk to shape a data‑driven product roadmap, translating complex security challenges into actionable plans and guiding end‑to‑end lifecycle from ideation to delivery,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field and at least 5 years of Product Management experience.
• Experience leading product management for developer platforms, DevOps tools, or large‑scale enterprise platforms.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, particularly in application security, vulnerability management, or software supply chain security.

Responsibilities

• Define and champion the product vision and multi-year strategy for automated container vulnerability remediation at Capital One.
• Lead the product roadmap for the Continuous Automated Refresh (CAR) platform, transforming it from a program to a mature, scalable product.
• Partner closely with senior leaders in Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Risk to ensure the platform meets the complex security and operational needs of a large enterprise.
• Deeply understand the pain points of internal software development teams and build solutions that make the secure path the easy path.
• Define, monitor, and evangelize KPIs, measuring toil reduction, time-to-remediate, and impact on developer productivity and satisfaction.
• Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and stakeholder engagement to delivery, launch, and continuous improvement.
• Serve as the enterprise-wide subject matter expert on the product, communicating its value to stakeholders at all levels.
