Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Director of Product Management for the Developer Experience team to own automated container vulnerability remediation and the CAR platform, delivering secure foundations across production environments.

You will partner with Engineering, Cybersecurity and Risk, translate complex problems into a data-driven roadmap, and lead cross-functional teams to reduce toil and improve developer productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field and at least 5 years of Product Management experience.
• Experience leading product management for developer platforms, DevOps tools, or large-scale enterprise platforms.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, particularly in application security, vulnerability management, or software supply chain security.
• Experience translating complex business strategy and technical challenges into a clear, data-driven product roadmap.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Define and champion the product vision and multi-year strategy for automated container vulnerability remediation.
• Lead the product roadmap for the CAR platform, transforming it into a scalable product.
• Partner with senior leaders in Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Risk to meet security and operational needs of a large enterprise.
• Understand internal developer pain points and build solutions that make the secure path the easy path.
• Define, monitor, and evangelize KPIs measuring toil reduction and time-to-remediate impact.
• Drive end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to delivery, launch, and continuous improvement.
• Communicate product value and progress to stakeholders at all levels.
