Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Director of Product Management for the Developer Experience team, focusing on Secure Foundations Platform. You will own strategy for artifact and vulnerability management, leading a platform (CAR) from program to scalable product.

Collaborate with Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Risk to meet enterprise needs and empower developers while reducing toil. The role requires 5+ years in PM and the ability to translate strategy into measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of Product Management experience.
• Experience leading PM for developer platforms, DevOps tools, or large-scale enterprise platforms.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, particularly in application security and software supply chain security.
• Ability to translate complex strategy into a data-driven product roadmap.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Define and champion the product vision and multi-year strategy for automated container vulnerability remediation.
• Lead the product roadmap for the CAR platform, maturing it into a scalable product.
• Partner with Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Risk to meet enterprise needs.
• Understand internal developers' pain points and build easy secure solutions.
• Define, monitor, and evangelize KPIs: toil reduction, time-to-remediate, developer productivity.
• Drive end-to-end lifecycle from ideation to delivery and continuous improvement.
• Act as enterprise SME and communicate value to stakeholders at all levels.
