Job summary

Confidential, a leading global interconnect technology manufacturer, seeks a Director of Product Development to lead a multidisciplinary engineering organization and influence the technology roadmap.

You will guide product development from concept through production, collaborating with executive leadership to shape strategy, drive innovation, and deliver high-speed interconnect solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in product development or engineering.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams and managers.
• Strong background in mechanical, electrical, electromechanical interconnect products.
• Experience taking products from concept through production and commercialization.
• Excellent cross-functional and executive communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Master's or MBA is a plus.
• Experience in connector, interconnect, switch, cable assembly, or related electromechanical industry is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead global engineering teams focused on new product development and innovation.
• Partner with executive leadership to shape product strategy and technology roadmap.
• Drive products from concept through validation and production launch.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, sales, marketing, and operations to bring products to market.
