Confidential, a leading global interconnect technology manufacturer, seeks a Director of Product Development to lead a multidisciplinary engineering organization and influence the technology roadmap.

You will guide product development from concept through production, collaborating with executive leadership to shape strategy, drive innovation, and deliver high-speed interconnect solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in product development or engineering.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering teams and managers.
• Strong background in mechanical, electrical, electromechanical interconnect products.
• Experience taking products from concept through production and commercialization.
• Excellent cross-functional and executive communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Master's or MBA is a plus.
• Experience in connector, interconnect, switch, cable assembly, or related electromechanical industry is highly preferred.

We’re partnering with a leading global interconnect technology manufacturer on a high-impact Director of Product Development opportunity for an engineering leader who wants to influence more than day-to-day execution.

You’ll lead a multidisciplinary global engineering organization responsible for developing next-generation connector and interconnect technologies, while working directly with executive leadership to shape product strategy, engineering direction, and the technology roadmap.

This is an opportunity to combine technical leadership, product innovation, and organizational impact—taking ideas from concept through production and helping define what comes next in high-speed interconnect technology.

• $170,000–$200,000+ base salary, depending on experience

This position is based in the Louisville/New Albany, Indiana area and requires relocation. A very comprehensive relocation package is available to support the selected candidate and their family through the move.
